2024 Caywood Pinot Noir

This marks a new chapter for a site rooted in the early promise of the Finger Lakes, with vines first planted here in the 1970s under Charles Fournier. The Pinot Noir, planted in 2018, carries that legacy forward, as it draws from the same shallow, shale-driven soils along the edge of Seneca Lake. The wine is immediate and expressive, where cranberries intertwine with sandalwood, and dried rosemary, supported by the deepness of the terroir. Caywood Pinot Noir offers a different lens into the site, one that feels both grounded in history and entirely its own.
