Dishwasher / Food Station Lead
Forge Cellars | Burdett, NY

Forge Cellars is seeking a dependable, organized team member to serve as our Dishwasher and Food Station Lead in the Salon on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays.

$20/hour + tips

Responsibilities:

  • Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes and kitchen equipment

  • Polish wine glasses and maintain presentation standards

  • Prepare cheeses, cured meats, and accompaniments for service

  • Assemble cheese and charcuterie boards according to established presentation guidelines

  • Prepare and serve tinned fish boards

  • Restock food station supplies and maintain cleanliness throughout service

  • Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen organization

  • Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures

  • Support the Salon staff as needed

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

  • Food service, hospitality, or kitchen experience is a plus, but not required

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds

The ideal candidate can work quickly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food presentation, team work spirit and guest service. This role requires the ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized during busy service periods, and ensure that dishes, glassware, and food boards are prepared and delivered promptly to support the overall guest experience.
